Blue Light Band Night  [June 2009]
The third band night of 2009 took place at the Factory Skatepark on Friday the 5th of June, this event saw four bands made up of Young People from the local area playing sets during the evening. A queue of Y.P began to develop from 6pm and by the time the doors opened at 7:30pm a large group of Y.P had arrived, in total 122 people were in attendance throughout the evening. Every young person who attended was breathalysed and searched with all passing.

The four bands that played were all of the metal variety and each played entertaining sets, a mosh pit was established at the front of the staging area and those in it really let there hair down literally.

The next band night will take place on Friday the 7th August and will have more of an indie music feeling to it. This is sure to be another excellent night of free music, so watch this space for details of bands scheduled to play.

The event was hosted by The Factory Skatepark in partnership with Dundee City Council, and Tayside police, while all sound requirements were taken care of by Audiowave.
